Tour Details

Tanzania is the place to enjoy a short safari. Tanzania is a lot closer than South Africa, for example, and in a short period of 5 days you can discover no less than 3 of the most beautiful game reserves in the world. During this 5-day safari through Tanzania we take you to the Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater – in search of the Big 5.

You start your 5 day safari through Tanzania in Arusha. We recommend that you arrive in Arusha the day before departure. You do not have to look for a hotel, an overnight stay in a hotel in Arusha is already included in the travel sum. It is a simple and simple, but otherwise great hotel. We pick you up at this hotel in the morning and then it starts: your Serengeti safari on a budget.

The next 5 days we will take you to one of the most beautiful places on earth and we will do our best to get you close to the Big 5. It must be crazy if that does not work, because the Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater is the habitat of so many wild animals!

Itinerary

Day 1Arusha to Tarangire National Park

The day before you leave on your 4-day safari through Tanzania, you’ll spend the night at the Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel. This overnight stay is included in the price. In the morning around 8.30 am, after breakfast, your Tanzania safari starts from this hotel. Arriving in the Tarangire National Park you go on safari through this park. Who knows, on the first day of your safari, do you get to see part of the Big 5? At the end of the afternoon you go to your camping place where dinner is also served. You camp just outside the park, on the grounds of Sunbright Campsites near Manyara.

Day 2Serengeti National Park

To make the most of the day you need to set your alarm early this morning. After breakfast, in the first daylight, you travel from the Tarangire National Park to the world famous Serengeti National Park. Today you will travel through the endless open plains of this wonderful game park; looking for all the spectacular wild animals that live here.
It is approximately a 4-hour drive from the Tarangire National Park to the Serengeti National Park and this ride is followed by a safari until the beginning of the evening. Make sure there is enough space on your camera, you are guaranteed to take hundreds of photos of this beautiful piece of earth.
You’ll spend the night at the Seronera campsite.

Day 3Safari through the Serengeti

Today you enjoy a full day safari through the Serengeti, looking for the Big 5.

Day 4Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

Today you don’t have to get up as early as yesterday. After a relaxed morning you travel to the Ngorongoro. You bring your professional and very experienced guide to the Ngorongoro Crater. You do not simply travel directly from A to B, but you go ” through safari” straight through the Sernegeti to the Ngorongoro Crater. This day too, you will therefore spend largely on a safari in the Serengeti. Along the way your guide tells you everything about the natural beauty of Tanzania and all the wildlife that you will see here along the way.
You spend the night at the Ngorongoro Simba campsite.

Day 5Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast you head into the Crater. Once the place where you have arrived was the crater of an immense volcano. Now it is very fertile soil, so it is teeming with wild animals. This promises to be a top day in terms of safari! In the afternoon you travel back to Arusha and then your budget safari through the Serengeti and Tanzania unfortunately ends.
